所有接受过圣洗之人都继承了基督作为祭司、先知和君王的三重身份，这也是我们的义务。今天，我们提醒大家最容易被忽视的身份——先知。

 

先知们宣讲真理，并非一定是在光鲜亮丽的舞台之上，而常常是在平平凡凡的日常生活之中。

 

正如厄则克耳先知（读经一），天主并没有把我们送到遥远的国度，而是把我们放在当今的社会当中，在这个社会当中，很多的基督徒还在公然地违反天主的诫命。

 

如同耶稣一样（福音），我们要敢于向世界上最严厉的听众、自己的家庭及邻居们大声疾呼，让他们知道我们的过错和我们过去不堪的生活。

 

我们也要像保禄宗徒(读经二)一样，我们这样做是由于“我为基督的原故，喜欢在软弱中，在凌辱中，在艰难中，在迫害中，在困苦中，因为我几时软弱，正是我有能力的时候。”

 

我们毫不动摇、坚定地述说天主的真理，祂是存在的，祂是真实的，不存在半点虚假。我们这样做，是因为我们要像基督耶稣一样，关心天主儿女的灵魂，最重要的是，一切的荣耀归给上主，我们的天主，阿门。

 

All baptized Christians inherit Christ's 3 roles of being priest, prophet and king. Today we are reminded of the most neglected one, being a prophet.

A prophet is one who speaks God's truth, not necessarily on stage, but in ordinary day to day life.

 

Like Ezekiel (1st Reading), God sends us not to distant nations but right here in our own society where fellow Christians live lives of open rebellion to God's laws.

 

Like Jesus (Gospel), we dare speak up even to the toughest audience in the world, our own family and neighbors who know our faults and past lives.

 

Like Paul (2nd Reading), we do this in spite "insults, hardships and persecutions for the sake of Christ."

 

We speak God's truth in unshakable faith that He exists and is not stupid. We do it because like Christ, we care for the souls of God's other children, and above all, to give glory to God Almighty.
